John Silva, and Bishop Gerald Gettelfinger at Holy Family School in Jasper after the Mass for Catholic School’s Week on Fri., Feb. 1, 2008. The Board reported on efforts to open the doors to John Paul the Great High School by the fall of 2009, and the Bishop gave his direction to them for how they could get official recognition as a Catholic school within the Diocese of Evansville.
