Will the students be required to wear uniforms? Print

Yes.  Uniforms focus attention on character and personality rather than physical appearance.  Uniforms reinforce a sense of community and belonging.  Uniforms encourage dressing in a dignified and modest way.  In the long run, a family will spend less on their child's wardrobe over 4 years when the uniform is used for school days.

A UNIFORM
    * Simplifies dressing
    * Reduces peer pressure and social stigmas
    * Places emphasis on learning, not clothing; personality instead of appearance
    * Equalizes social and economic diversity
    * Contains long-term clothing costs
    * Facilitates security by identifying outsiders
    * Enhances school spirit
    * Lowers the chances of theft
    * Makes laundry easier

Most days, the “Everyday Uniform” would be the code to follow while special occasions, feast days, all-school mass days and other occasions specified by Mrs. Flatt would follow the “Dress Uniform” code.
